Below is a list of our Staff with some information about their background in Cheerleading and other areas.
 
 



Head Coach and Co-Owner - Miss Lauren
Head Coach and Co-Owner - Miss Lauren
Lauren has been a Cheersport Coach since the first studios opened in 2008. She has over 20 years of Dance experience and is an accredited Level 4 Cheerleading Coach. Lauren coached the Tassie Devils and Tassie Tigers State Cheerleading teams for 5 years. She took great pride representing Australia for Cheerleading in America in the 2012 Las Vegas Grand International Cheerleading Championship. Her team, World Cup Spirit, won the Grand Champion title in their division. Lauren also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Teaching Degree; Teacher by day, Coach by night! Lauren loves working with kids, especially when she gets to share her passion for Cheerleading with them.
Manager and Co-Owner - Miss Sarah
Sarah's 3 girls became involved with cheerleading and she found it to be great for their self esteem, health and to work as part of a team which requires them to really work together and trust one another. She is looking forward to the challenge of managing the club in 2016 and contributing to the future of Cheersport Tasmania.

Miss Erin
Miss Erin
Erin has been a Cheersport Coach since 2013, and is currently an accredited Level 2 Coach. She has been involved in Cheerleading for 7 years, starting out in the Cheersport Lindisfarne Gems team. Erin represented Tasmania in the 2010 Asia Pacific Grand Finals for Cheerleading in Brisbane and is looking forward to the challenge of competing in Hong Kong in June 2014. She is currently the captain of the Cheersport Inferno Senior/Open team.
Miss Kristy
Kristy started her dance life at age 4 under the wonderful guidance of Jill Barron, a well known and respected teacher in the industry. Jill inspired Kristy to develop an interest in Tap, Jazz and Acrobatics - in particular contortion work. Kristy was accepted into the St Michaels Collegiate School of Performing Arts program with a focus on lyrical / contemporary and Ballet. Kristy then went on to carry out further study in Brisbane at the Australian Dance Performance Institute in 2004 covering all facets of dance including musical theatre. On returning back to Tasmania Kristy had the pleasure of teaching children dance from age 4 to open in Jazz, Lyrical and Tap. During her dance training and career she has worked as both an amateur and professional dancer/entertainer. Kristy has a total of 28 years in the dance industry and is looking forward to a new venture and challenge as our 2016 Pom coach.

Corey is Cheer coach for the Devils and Tigers teams and is assistant coach for the INFERNO senior team.

Brodie is the assistant Cheer coach for the Devils, Tigers and INFERNO.

Leigh Dittmann

Leigh has been involved with competitive Cheerleading for 6 years with two national gold medals under his belt. He was a competitive Gymnast for 20 years, representing Tasmania six times at the national level and has been an accredited Gymnastics coach for 17 years. He is an accredited Level 3 Cheerleading Coach and loves Cheerleading because he feels that it is a great team sport that encompasses various aspects of Gymnastics, Dance and Acrobatics.
